2010-2011 Transmission planning process

The California ISO 2010-2011 transmission planning cycle involves key stakeholder activities throughout 2010 and part of 2011. Each year, the ISO conducts its transmission planning process to identify potential system limitations and opportunities for system reinforcement to improve reliability and efficiency. The core product of the transmission planning process is the California ISO Transmission Plan, which documents all activities identified or conducted during the planning cycle related to infrastructure development that impact the ISO grid.
