Quick and accurate settlements help markets function
Settlements are the calculation, billing, and invoicing of charges and payments for market and transmission-related activities between market participants and the ISO. The settlement cycle follows a specific timeline and processes for publication of statements, invoices and payment advices, dispute submittals and payments.
Market and administrative charges
Many specific charge type categories are used within ISO settlements and invoice processes according to a Market Participant's involvement in the ISO Markets.
Credit policy
The credit policy is detailed in the ISO Tariff and the Business Practice Manual for Credit Management. Consistent with the policy, market participants use the following forms to demonstrate that they meet the ISO minimum participation and financial security requirements and to request an unsecured credit limit.
